I love ideas . . .
. . . but I know first hand how difficult it is to get them off the ground. I believe that part of my obligation as a successful entrepreneur is to help others get the same chance to start something that others gave me.
Because of this, I occasionally do seed-stage angel investments in companies that I find interesting. (I’ve highlighted a few of them below).
Be forewarned – I’m a little old fashioned in that a) I like to understand what I’m investing in, and b) I like to take my time with my decision. So if you’re doing a low-energy bluetooth company, your round is completely oversubscribed and you need my decision by tomorrow . . . I’m definitely not your guy.
But on the other hand, if you’re doing e-commerce, a two sided network, or a subscription businesses – and have time for me to think about – then you’re right up my alley.
Read this and this, and if you still think I might be a fit, feel free to let me know.
